I started my career in New York City working for small agencies where I got a lot of experience designing projects from start to finish. I worked on a large variety of print work: album covers, invitations for a non-profit organizations, Chase bank reports, tour-guide books and advertising for Chanel. I decided New York City wasn't for me and moved to California to work at an agency whose main client was Intel. I learned how to push guidelines to be creative but still stay within brand standards. We moved to North Carolina in 2001 and I have worked at a few local agencies where I got experience on IBM, Kodak, British Airways, Lenovo, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC. During my career, I have spent time as an Art Director but realized that presenting work is not where I am comfortable. When it comes to production design, I’ve always enjoyed taking established concepts and designs and translating them into other complementary campaign elements. Coming from a family of artists, I’ve always appreciated good design, and I like to think of myself as a strong conceptual and critical thinker. But really, as a production artist, I just find something very rewarding about being able to step in (often times at the eleventh hour) and save the day. My personality really leans toward figuring out complex deadlines and efficiently knocking things out.
